Player 1 - Black Cat :

- WASD - Move

In the Fishing Game

Player 1 - Black Cat :

- F - Fish

- WASD - Use a bait on yourself, then fish

- HOLD F + WASD - Use a bait on the opponent, then fish

How do rounds work?

• Players cycle between a Fishing phase and a Shopping phase.
• In the Fishing phase , players catch fishes, which are used in the Shopping phase to buy bait.
• Any unspend fish will be offered to the Cat God, which will move the scale to one side or another depending on the total fish offered through the game.

How does the Fishing phase work?

• In the Fishing phase, each player has a Weight Machine that will tell them the total weight of the fishes that have fished during this phase.
• In the middle, you can see the maximum weight that each Weight Machine can have on it. When you get a fish and it makes your total weight be above the maximum weight, you'll lose all your loot and you'll stop playing this phase.
• Bonus points!!!
  • The player that has more fish weight at the end of the Fishing phase will receive a x1.5 bonus points!
  • If a catch makes your total weight be equal to the maximum weight, congratulations! That's a Pisca! You get a x2 bonus points and the Fishing phase will end immediately.
• When you fish you can choose between 3 actions:
  • Fish: Get a random fish. Each fish has a different weight, and there's a lot of them that can only be obtained using bait.
  • Use a bait on yourself.
  • Use a bait on your opponent.
• After you get your fish, you will be asked if you want to continue fishing. Retiring soon to avoid lose all your fish smart... but getting that sweet Pisca! is smarter!!!
• When a player retires (even if it was forced because they surpassed the maximum weight), the other player will have one last turn of action.

Bait? What's that?

• In the Shopping phase, you can buy baits to cheat with the probability to get smaller or bigger fishes.
• When a player buys a bait, it will be unavailable until the next Shopping phase. Be fast!
• One shop sells Fish Snacks, and the other Rotten Food:
  • Fish Snacks: Increase the probability to get bigger fishes. You can catch a lot of fishes that you wouldn't be able without a snack!
  • Rotten Food: Decrease the probability to get fishes with a good amount of weight. This way, there's much control on what you can get!
• During the Fishing phase, you will be able to throw this bait on your side or on the opponent's side of the pond.
• Be careful! If you and your opponent both throw bait at the same side of the pool, their effects will change:
  • If both use the same bait, it will have an even more powerful effect.
  • If each use a different bait, its combined effect will be in equilibrium between both.

How is bait beneficial?

• When you use bait on yourself:
  • Use Rotten Food to have more probability to get  smaller fishes so that Pisca! is more secure to get!
    
  • Use Fish Snack to get to a high weight faster than your opponent and retire before they can get to your score!
• When you use bait on your opponent:
  • Use Rotten Food to slow your opponents while you achieve a big weight faster!
    
  • Use Fish Snack to make them surpass the maximum weight and make them lose all their loot!

How do I win?

• Easy. Get more fish than your opponent. Each unspent fish will be offered to the Cat God, and this will move the scale to one side or another.
• When the scale inclines enough to your side, you will be the winner of the game!
• You don't know what's the difference of fish you need to win or how many fish there is on your part of the scale. Taking risks is all in this game! I don't know if I should tell you this, but the more rounds, the less difference there has to be to move the scale, so be careful!
